Welcome to Omni Academy!#

We are an Elite:Dangerous Squadron with a focus on tutoring. We welcome new players from those just learning how to pilot their first Sidewinder to those learning how they should consider utilizing their first Fleet Carrier. We are focused primarily on PvE and non-combat careers as well as teaching the different processes and routes for Engineering.

Gameplay Tools & Planning#

  • Elite:Dangerous Wiki: The official community Wiki choc full of useful information about ships, outfitting, pilot rank, and lots more. This should be your first stop for information after this one.
  • Inara.CZ: A database for tracking many different resources in Elite, such as System, Planet and Station searches, Outfitting, and many other live data search options.
  • Coriolis.io: A tool for planning, testing and sharing ship builds.
  • Spansh.co.uk: An excellent collection of tools useful for long-distrance trip planning and routes for high-value discoveries such as Exobiology.

Customization#

  • ED HUD Mod: Allows you to customize the colors of most of the game UI, including automatically switching depending on your ship.
  • Voice Packs: Get unique ship voices not available in game that offer much more feedback and even include voice control.
  • ED Market Connector: A tool for submitting market and system data to several different online tools - It provides no direct benefit on its own, but is a powerful plugin for other tools and also helps broadcast data to the greater Elite community.
